Wind from the north
Dry and cold
Blow, blow and blow
You pluck leaves and unripe fruits from trees
You dry up leaves and grasses
Leaving everywhere white.

Wind from the north
It dries our skin
Blow, blow and blow
Leaving white stretch marks all over
It cracks our heels
Then dry our lips and cause them to tear.

Wind from Sahara
It blows up the dust
Blow, blow and blow
Leaving our hair brown and earthy
It snatches money from our hands
And throw doors ajar.

Wind from Sahara
You give wings to papers
Blow, blow and blow
You give voice to trees
You spread the fire
And make a beautiful time.
