Written on Valentine’s Eve

I.
Your scents sprawl across my skin, and I sheen in a joyous grin.
The fragrance of your hugs embraces me; don’t you think that is mean?

II.
Staring at this ice cream bowl reminds me of how you howl
When I take you to Dominoes instead of making you hot semo

III.
Today I summoned the courage required to watch Money Heist
And remembered how we often pause midway to replicate Rio-Tokyo escapades

IV.
Blue Band reminds me of you, and the burnt smell of microwaved sliced bread
I still see you in the kitchen spreading ketch-up on nearly-done fries

V.
Spreading; the follicles on my thigh fold in shivers at random thoughts of you
You spread my legs; I moan in glee; how can I erase those moments with you?

VI.
I think my flo-tracker knows your name; the care package vendor reached out too
I apologised then I blocked her, but it doesn’t make me stop thinking of you

VII.
I don’t use Google Keep anymore; they are filled with your lurking gaze
And unaware shots you took at 04:00 am after we hit the 4th base

VIII
I deleted my Inshot app too, I finally switched to Cap-cut
Remember that sneaky shot? Thank the stars we were not caught

IX.
Everything is moving fast, slowly and simultaneously
And when I think I have moved on, my heart cries out; “I need thee”

X.
My mum asked of you yesterday, your sister beeped on Twitter too
You’re out of my life, or so I think, do we kick our folks out too?

XI.
Read this as a melodious elegy, an ode to the good times we had
I hope as I conjure your memories, my heart chooses to be glad

XII
‘Cause what is love if not a museum of priceless moments
Fleeting, with memories sometimes nocent

XIII.
I love French’s version; Tu me manques
A sign that you’re missing from me

XIV.
I hope to summon the courage needed to delete our playlist after this.
